Bulgarian Train Travel

After Athens we were presented with two opportunities. We could either take the train straight to Sofia, Bulgaria or take the overnight train to another city in Greece, spend the whole day there and take the night train across the border. The first option seemed to be the smarter of the two, so we decided on the other and spent the day in Thessaloniki.

Athens Olympic grounds looked like one of those movies where a bomb knocks out the whole world except a few people. We pretened like we were those last people.

Goody's is a fast food chain in Greece. The have a downstairs for adults and an upstairs for kids. The upstairs even has a toliet that is much smaller than a normal adult would use. We did not figure this out for a while and just wondered why Greeks made such small toilets and how they fit on them.
