So far parking hasn't been exactly easy in most of our destinations, but nowhere have we been completely up a tree. We were told over and over that parking in Manhattan would be a complete mess and nearly impossible. This proved to have no merit whatsoever as we quickly found a spot for the bus right there in Midtown. The Bluebird Bus Gods have been shining on us so far, I guess. We got into the spot late on a Friday night and as luck would have it, we had the spot without a meter all the way until Monday morning. It was kind of like having our own place, right there at west 22nd and 7th. Immediately after pulling in we decided to put to the test if New York really was the city that never sleeps. We all went to bed before the city, but it was still a fun night. The next day we got up to hit the town to see all the sights. After walking around all day we came back home to find out Joseph had gotten us all tickets to a comedy show that evening. We all had some good laughs and had a nice night out on the town, preparing to head down to the Jersey shore to meet up with one of our lost comrades.
